Hypoport??s New Portal for ABS Investors

Von Dr. Oliver Everling | 29.September 2008

Hypoport Capital Market AG, an innovative provider of financial market platforms in the European capital market, today announced the launch of a publicly accessible data portal within their ABS platform EUROPACE for investors. EUROPACE for investors is a web-based portal providing high quality and in-depth information achieved by covering more than 90% of all public ABS transactions in Europe. EUROPACE for investors offers a comprehensive deal and originator library for European ABS transactions. Analytical tools like cash flow scenario calculation and loan-level slicing and dicing, including overlap analyses, are available as well as the complete monitoring of an investment portfolio.

Hypoport Capital Market is part of the Hypoport group, headquartered in Berlin, with regional offices in London & Amsterdam. Hypoport is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. With more than 450 employees, the company has seen double-digit growth in the last two years with revenues exceeding €47m. Hypoport’s business model focuses on two main sectors, each benefiting from the other: the sale and marketing of financial products, and the provision of a transaction platform for processing and distributing financial products through the internet. More information is available at www.hypoport.com/investors.

The data portal provides free access to all public European ABS transactions included in EUROPACE for investors. Summarised data and investor reports of the most recent published collection period, as well as offering circulars and parties involved in the transactions, can be viewed within the data portal.

Hypoport Capital Market launched the data portal shortly before the TSI Congress 2008 – Perspectives for the German ABS and credit market and the European CLOs, Structured Credit Products and Credit Derivatives Summit in London to increase the transparency in the European structured finance industry, which is often called for by the market due to the complexity of ABS transactions. Not only ABS investors but also the European Commission and the European Securitisation Forum (ESF) addressed the desire for better information in this sector.

„General information for each ISIN included in a public European ABS transaction should be freely available, as known from stocks. We are delighted to more than fulfil this necessity with our data portal. Especially in the market environment right now, the desire for free and reliable information is not only present in our comparatively small community.“, said Franz-Rudolf Brueggemann, Managing Director of Hypoport Capital Market.
